One condo. Two
islands worth of weather.
Hawai'i Island, on the leeward side. Kona is dry, calm, and breaks the trade winds — every
morning you decide whether to head out for coffee, or stay on the lanai with the Keurig
brew.

The building
Three-story stucco walkup, finished in the early 1980s, right on Banyans Beach. Pool, hot tub, BBQ, covered parking, an elevator that works.
ii.
The unit
Two bedrooms (king · king), two baths, a long wrap-around lanai facing west. We bought it in mid-2024, took it down to the studs — new kitchen, baths, AC, and floors — and hung exactly the things we wanted to look at.

The keepers
Josh, Amanda, and Cindy, who, among them, have decades of experience managing vacation-rental properties.
