A two-bedroom condo on the leeward side of the Big Island, run as if we still lived in it.

·001 / the place

One condo. Two
islands worth of
weather.

Hawai'i Island, on the leeward side. Kona is dry, calm, and breaks the trade winds — every morning you decide whether to walk five minutes to coffee, or stay on the lanai with the Keurig brew.
i.

The building

Three-story concrete-and-koa walkup, finished in the early 1980s, named for the sprawling banyan tree out front. Pool, BBQ, covered parking, an elevator that works.

ii.

The unit

Two bedrooms (king · king), two baths, koa cabinetry, a long screened lanai facing west. We bought it in mid-2024 and have hung exactly the things we wanted to look at.

iii.

The keepers

Cindy, Amanda, and Josh have decades of experience managing vacation rentals.

A walk through unit 300 — the lanai, the view, the rooms, the banyan tree that gave the building its name.

Pool & Hot Tub

Community pool and hot tub on the property grounds — a quieter alternative to the ocean when you want to float without fins.

Community BBQ

Shared grilling area on the grounds for sunset cookouts after a day on the water.

Beach Equipment

Beach wagon, rolling and backpack coolers, beach chairs, toys, pool noodles, and beach towels — all provided. Snorkel gear is available at rental shops along Aliʻi Drive.

Covered Parking

Assigned stall underneath the building for the unit, plus guest parking. No hunting for a spot.

Aliʻi Drive Location

On Kona's oceanfront "gold coast," walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops, 15 minutes from KOA airport. Banyan Mart convenience store across the street.
